(70cm) nitro reproved 'Prima' Krupp-steel barrels (in 2018, finish struck off and touched in, light bulge left tube), file cut top-rib with banner engraved in gothic script 'Franz Karl, Luneburg', flip-up open sights and bead fore-sight, 2 1/2in. shot chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, scroll-back action with carved serpentine fences, action incorporating Franz Karl patent hinged breech face and rib extension barrel lock-up, patent 185641 of 7th May 1907, hold-open toplever, pin cocking-indicators, tang mounted barrel selector slide, manual side safety, set front trigger, bold foliate designs carved onto a matted background, with small game scenes of fox and duck and roe deer, triggerguard engraved with a red stag and with horn bolster, 14 1/4in. figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, fluted horn pistolgrip-stock, sling swivels, engraved sprung steel ball ammunition trap, horn buttplate with FN trademark, fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release, weight 7lb. 2oz.
